YOU CAN HELP THE dotSCOT CAMPAIGN

There are a number of ways in which you can help us with this campaign. The main thing we need from you is help with collecting registered support.

To ensure the application for the dotSCOT top level domain name is successful, we need to demonstrate to ICANN that there is sufficient demand for the domain name.

We've set a target of collecting 50,000 names of support, and are aiming to exceed this target.

In order to help us, please complete the following steps.

1. Register your support

If you haven't already done so, please make sure you have registered your name in support of the campaign.

When you register, we will check that you have given a valid email address to ensure all names on the list of support are verified and accurate.

If you wish, we will also add you to our e-newsletter list, so you can be kept up to date with the progress of the dotSCOT campaign is making. Please request to receive the e-newsletter when you confirm your email address.

We guarantee that you won't receive any spam from us. We will only send you the newsletter if you request it. You can unsubscribe at any time if you no longer wish to receive the e-newsletter. We NEVER sell or pass your contact details onto any other company.

2. Tell as many people as possible

We have included a "Share" button on every page, so you can easily tell someone about the dotSCOT campaign.

This button (in the right column) will allow you to add the site to deli.ico.us, twitter, facebook, etc. as well as simply emailing your friends to register their support.

3. Link to our site

You could help the campaign by linking to this site, which would be geatly appreciated.

There are images in the Web links to us page and text signatures for use in your emails.

When linking to us, it is best to link directly to our home page at www.dotSCOT.com.

4. Ask your employer, school, university, etc. to help

The more people that know about the campaign, the more successful we are likely to be in our bid for the dotSCOT top level domain name.
